![]() i seriously have no idea what the problem could be. i replaced it with the 710 again and the same post problem occurred, after that i tried replugging my 210 but this time the fan wasn't working again. fortunately, i got it working again and it booted into windows. the GT210 and for some reason it let me go into the bios but crashed: for some reason its fan wasn't spinning, which caused it to overheat and eventually crash. the gpu that has problems with booting is a GT710. Searching the forums reveals this same board has been used in various other Dell systems, and that there are BIOS revisions as high as A09. however, the problem with the gpu still exists. Latest BIOS for E210882 motherboard I have a Dimension B110 (1100) with the E210882 motherboard. Update2:the boot problem was due to a bad windows installation, so i reinstalled and it worked fine. On-off (0.5 second each) two times, then. Update: after unplugging the gpu, everything worked fine. I have tried disconnecting any SATA devices and swapping ram slots. When i try to enter the BIOS, boot menu or bios update, it clicks like it accepted my input but just goes into the same black screen. ![]() when i power it on it shows the Intel splash screen with all the bios options (i.e "press F2 to enter bios"), then beeps like it finished POST but stays on the splash screen, then after a while beeps again and after a few seconds it goes into a black screen with a flashing white line at the top left and just gets stuck there (like it's trying to give me either a failure message or a startup message but fails to show it). The expansion slots are plentiful with three PCIe. ![]() USB 3.0 and SATA 3 are both supported through discrete chips onboard the DX58SO2. ![]() I just got a second hand Intel e210882 mobo and connected it. The Intel DX58SO2 has just about every feature under the sun. ![]()
